Self Analysis Questions + Conclusion Addendum

While we have attempted to make it as exhaustive as possible, we can’t ensure that this guide covers the complete length and breadth of Indian B-schools. We hope that after reading this article, people make more informed decisions about their graduate study plans. Many face a dearth of information about MBAs due to lack of connections with alumni or fail to leverage the same. Online public forums tend to give broad generalized advice which may fail to take into account the unique experiences of an IIT-B graduate.

This information asymmetry means that we tend to follow the herd or make decisions based on hearsay, leading to suboptimal choices. This article provides the perspective of our alumni and an opportunity to learn from their mistakes in the pursuit of B-Schools. We hope this article helps you to make a well-informed career decision and fine-tune your preparation for B-schools. As MBA admission is not just about clearing an exam but a test of your track record, we have attached a self-analysis questionnaire to assess your preparation for B-schools. We hope the assessment helps you to shape your journey in the institute in the most productive way.

We would like to hear your feedback for the article. We are planning a similar piece for foreign B-schools and will try to incorporate your suggestions in the same. Feel free to drop in your suggestions to any of the authors of the article.
